Mundubbera students have the unique opportunity to participate in an accelerated maths program which commences in year 7. This program focuses on higher order thinking processes in maths at a challenging level sometimes a year or more above the year level program. The aim of the program is to give students the chance to have a head start going into senior Maths B or Maths C. Graduates from this program have gone on to significant achievements in post year 10 courses. Students enter the program in year 7, and sometimes year 8, and to gain the most from it, need to remain in the program until the end of year 10.
